UniformsCornerstone Academy students wear school uniforms for chapel days and on field trips. This is beneficial for many reasons including the following:
*Provides a sense of community
*Eliminates disagreements on clothing choices at home
*Students’ mindset is focused on school
*Reduces comparison of clothing and status
You may only purchase burgundy colored and plaid items through our school store them so the color stays true. You may also choose to have them add our logo to most items. You may choose to purchase any other items from a store of your choice.

Uniform Policy
All School Levels
- Belts are suggested if there are belt loops
- Hair accessories need to compliment uniform colors
- Earrings can only be worn by girls and should not be distracting
- Nail Polish should not be distracting
- Temporary tattoos are not allowed as they are distracting in class
- Hair should be a conservative style and natural color
- No hats or scarves worn during class
- Skirts need to be no more than three inches above the knee
- Color coordinated bike shorts are required under skirts and jumpers
- Hats and sunglasses are for outside the building.
- No make up is allowed in Beginning or Grammar school levels
- Our building has a tendency to run cold and non-uniform outerwear is not allowed to be worn in the classroom. You will want to have a uniform sweater or fleece jacket that your child can wear in class if they are cold.
Formal Uniform
Worn to chapel and most field trips
BOYS
- Bottoms Solid Navy slacks or shorts (no cargo, carpenter or zip off pants)
- Tops Must be Burgundy with a logo, Can be a long or short sleeve polo. Can be a Burgundy long sleeve sweater or sweater vest worn with a white or burgundy collared shirt under.
- Socks Solid Navy
- Shoes Plain, solid Navy or Brown or Black dress shoes
GIRLS
- Bottoms Beginning School - Solid Navy jumper, skirt or skort
Grammar School - Burgundy Plaid jumper, skirt or skort
Color coordinated Bike shorts required under jumpers or skirts
- Tops Must be Burgundy with a logo, Can be a long or short sleeve polo.
Can be a Burgundy long sleeve sweater or sweater vest worn with a
white or burgundy collared

A camisole is required under thin white shirts- Socks White tights, knee-highs or ankle socks no leggings
- Shoes Brown or Black dress shoes without a heel (no boots)
Daily Uniform
All School, boys and girls, worn on non-chapel days
- Bottoms Navy or Khaki (jumpers, skirts, shorts, slacks- no zip off or cargo pants)
- Tops Burgundy with a logo, white or navy with a collar
- Socks White or Navy or Khaki to compliment bottoms
- Shoes Navy or Brown or Black dress shoes (no boots or heels)
PE Uniform
Worn to any PE Elective
- Students must wear a PE uniform from the uniform store.
- Socks White athletic socks
- Shoes Sturdy athletic shoes, no black soles
- Swimwear One piece suits for girls; long swim shorts for boys
