About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide classical, Christian education that is parent supported, student centered, and powered by passionate educators.

Classical education instills a love of learning in children. The three phase process of instruction (called the Trivium) meets the child’s natural learning needs. Our educators train childrens’ minds with brain based learning strategies, allowing each student to be successful.

All our teachers have a personal relationship with Christ. This translates into each class being taught from a Christian world view. Students learn to think and live in a way that is consistent with the Bible.

The parents and staff at Cornerstone Academy work in tandem to provide a rich education to all our students.  We partner with local businesses who also support the learning at Cornerstone.  Students at CSA are given opportunities throughout the year to give back to their local and global community.

Our Vision

Is to shape wise students who seek knowledge, knowing that it begins with the fear of the LORD.  Our goal is to have young adults graduate from Cornerstone who pursue truth, seek beauty, and desire to live virtuously.  Like all true and humble scholars, they will know they still have much to seek and learn as adults.

Teaching Minds

At Cornerstone Academy we believe that the

academic mind and the spiritual heart are of equal value in education.

The Cornerstone Academy teachers and administration work together to create a foundational learning plan for all students.  Starting each morning with bible, then breaking into leveled reading groups and then leveled math groups keeps all students working at their own pace.  The afternoons are filled with history, science and all the enrichment found in art, music, classical/modern language and PE.  The goal is to keep student challenged as well as having fun learning.  Our SAT scores continue to show our students are 2.8 grade levels ahead of the national norms.

Training Hearts

All teachers at Cornerstone Academy believe this statement of faith to be true. Parents are required to sign this statement acknowledging our faith based instruction.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in faith and conduct.

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in the three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son. We believe he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. We believe he lived a sinless life, teaching and performing miracles. We believe he died for our sins, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and will visibly return to earth in power and glory to judge all mankind.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in every believer of Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide, convicting mankind of sins and empowering all who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that all men are sinners and therefore need salvation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ alone as their Savior are saved. We believe that salvation is a free gift of God, entirely apart from works, and is possessed by all who have by faith received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
